Tibet an epic in itself with mountain vistas, beautiful and colourful Buddhist monasteries and monks, grasslands, with yaks and pristine lakes of blue and green hues. Tibet is, a dream destination that every traveler should visit and plan for in their life. The paperwork required to get here can be daunting but we have done it well so far. On the northern side of the Himalayas, is an autonomous region of China is Tibet, The lofty Plateau. Also known as the “Roof of the World” as it is home to worlds highest plateau. It shares Mt. Everest with Nepal. The capital city Lhasa, is where the Potala Palace is and was once the Dalai Lama’s winter home. Also in Lhasa is the Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s spiritual heart, revered for its golden statue of the young Buddha.
